One foot in each culture definitely keeps me on my toes, forcing me to evaluate my life, my cultural biases and priorities. Though I am not always comfortable with the tension this creates, I am thankful for the rich diversity of my life and the creativity it sparks.....

This piece was in the Music in Me Show at the Tannery. I began by masking out part of the painting....

Then I started with an acrylic ink wash................

Then I added texture and detail. This is called "Feel" in tribute to the Michelle Tumes Song.

This was an acrylic ink on canvas. " Stain Glass Trees"

and finally the finished product from the last blog,inspired by the song Breathe Me by Sia, called "Breathe Me Out"
