Eight for a Wish- acrylic
This was based on the childrens rhyme about crows:
"One for sorrow, two for joy, three for a girl, and four for a boy,
five for silver, six for gold, seven for secrets never told.
Eight for a wish and nine for a kiss, and ten for a time for joyous bliss."
According to a friend I should have called it Egdar Allen Crow! haha!
I had so much fun at The Big 2 Show at Tannery Row and this piece won! What an immense thrill!
When Eduardo Found Lupita- acrylic
This was the other entry; both were 3 feet X 4 feet!
I love the movement and flow of latin dancers, and I tried to
capture that mood. And it was a tribute to one of the best dancers

Weaves and Things
Music Festival over...sigh, fun but oh so hard. I'm switching back into mommy/art mode and it feels so good. Peace and quiet in the studio, but crazy overactive mind! Here I am trying to just calm it, and paint out all the busyness and swirling ideas. I've never done a series, but I like the weaves.....
